Return and Refund Policy

Return / Refund Process

You may initiate the return within 30 days of receiving your order. Please reach out to us at sales@lifereadysolar.com and please:

  • explain whether you want a return or a refund
  • attach your order number and proof of purchase

Once we get back to you and confirm the return, you may send the items. Please be aware that they must not show any signs of use and be in the original packaging, otherwise we will not be able to accept it.

We highly suggest to use a delivery service with a tracking code - you are responsible for the return package until it reaches our warehouse.

You will be resposible for return shipping costs.

 

Cancellations

If you need to cancel an order, please contact us as soon as possible, so we can refund you in full before your order leaves the warehouse. If you contact us before we hand your order over to the delivery service, we will be able to refund in full. Otherwise, standard return conditions apply (including the 25% restocking fee).

You cannot cancel orders of custom or made-to-order products.

Warranty

We offer different warranties based on each manufacturer's policy (see concrete product pages for details).

What is however common for all our products is that warranty is in place for damages incurred from use and over time. Therefore, warranty claim cannot be used for damages from transport.

Damaged Orders

In the very rare case your order arrives damaged, here's what you should do:

  • when you sign for delivery, make note of the damage
  • afterward, take photos of the damage, the box and the SKU
  • send these to our customer support at sales@lifereadysolar.com along with a short explanation of what's wrong - do this within 24 hours of receiving the package

Only then will we be able to help you process the insurance claim on your behalf.

Do not let the courier rush you when accepting the package, you have a right to properly inspect it.

BOGO Promotions

In the event of a BOGO promotion, both items must be returned for a full refund. If one of the two items is returned, you will get a replacement of that item or store credit for the value of that item when purchased on its own. If your order has shipped, you (the buyer) will also be responsible for actual return shipping charges and, depending on the manufacturer, potentially a restocking fee. Refunds will only be issued to the original credit card that you used when placing your order.

All customers agree that they have read, understand, and agree to the terms and conditions above. 

Individual items/products will have varying refund and return policies depending on the manufacturer. Please see individual product pages for details, or contact info@lifereadysolar.com.

Refunds For Standard Orders (Non-Financed)

We will notify you once the item's Manufacturer has received and inspected your return, and will let you know whether or not your refund request was approved. If you are approved, you will get your money back within 10 business days (on the same payment method you used to place your order).

If more than15 business days has passed since we approved your return, please contact us at sales@lifereadysolar.com.

Financed Orders (Buy now, pay later)

Order cancellations and refunds must be requested in writing via electronic mail to your assigned Life Ready Solar, or by phone at (855) 962-5433 at least 24 business hours before the order is communicated to ship, and before the order is "funded" by the finance company.

Once a financed order is shipped, it is considered fully funded and your order is considered final. Returns will no longer be accepted once a financed order ships. Before financing, we urge you to consult with a representative of your financier or a representative of Life Ready Solar to determine if this is the right payment option for you.

If all of the above requirements are met and a financed order has not yet shipped, Life Ready Solar will require a receipt, purchase order, or proof of purchase (Online Order Number) in order to initiate a refund.

Chargebacks

 

Charbeback should be a matter of last resort. We're here to help, discuss and make sure that you are satisfied. However, please be aware that we will file criminal charges if you file for a fraudulent chargeback.
